*!!!OBAMA COMES TO SHAKER AND I'M GOING TO SEE HIM!!!*

Yesterday, Tuesday July 21st I went to my grandma's house to help her move some stuff and she told me that President Barack Obama was coming to Shaker on Thursday. My grandma showed me the article in the Plain Dealer, and it said the event was open to the public and that a limited amount tickets were available to the public and could be won by either signing up online or calling a number and leaving your information. Since my grandmother doesn't have internet she called the number and entered her name to win tickets. I figured I might as well because it's not like the President comes to your local high school everyday, so I called and entered my name as well. Along with my grandmother and I, my sister, my mom, and my uncle all entered their names. About 6 o-clock I got a call telling me I HAD WON 2 TICKETS TO PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA'S TOWN HALL MEETING. Turns out my mom also won 2 tickets. I am really excited to attend the event and see Obama up close. I will probably go crazy early so I get good seats.

Here is a snippet from the Plain Deal article about the President's visit.

The centerpiece of the trip will be an afternoon town hall-style meeting at Shaker Heights High School, during which he will take questions about his reform plan after delivering prepared remarks. Beforehand, Obama will tour the Cleveland Clinic, a frequent stop for presidents and presidential candidates who like to use the institution as a backdrop for discussion about medical innovation.Obama, whose visit will follow his nationally televised press conference Wednesday night on health-care reform, has not yet endorsed a specific plan, but has rejected the idea of a single-payer, or nationalized, health-care system. Obama wants a plan that covers the uninsured and lowers costs for others.

Enjoy.
