*Cleveland Welcomes The DIESEL*

The man they call the diesel, superman, the daddy, shaqtus, and many other names is now a Cavalier.  Personally I didn't think this deal would get done, but I should have known better.  The Cavs ownership will do anything to please LeBron, so when they asked him if he would want Shaq to be a Cavalier, and if he thought Shaq could be the missing piece to their championship hopes, LeBron ok'd the deal.  For speculators that think LeBron is leaving in 2010 and going to New York, wake up, he's going to be a Cavalier for a long time.  Every supestar has claimed a team and stayed with them to build their legacy.  Kobe and the Lakers, Jordan and the Bulls, now LeBron and the Cavs.  

The Cavs took on alot of money with the acquisition of Shaq, which is not a bad thing.  He is a free agent after this coming season, clearing cap room for the summer of 2010 when every superstar and their mother is going to be a free agent.  Shaq has some left in the tank but not much.  The Daddy is 37 and has made it known that he wants to play for a couple more years. Two very different situations could play out for the Cavs.

Come summer 2010 and the Cavs are NBA champions, LeBron will be resigned, Shaq will contimplate either, retiring on top or signing a short term deal with the Cavs for less money so the Cavs will still have the cap room to sign another "big name" player.

Come summer 2010 and he Cavs are NOT NBA champions, LeBron will be resigned, Shaq will either retire or become a free agent (NOT resign with the Cavs) and the Cavs organization will move to acquire a superstar bigman to please the king.

This whole thing is dependent on how the relationships between 1 Mike Brown and Shaq 2 LeBron and Shaq and 3 Shaq and Cavs ownership.  Lets not forget Shaq ran Stan Van Gundy out in Miami.  I think this was a great move for the Cavs, but I don't think this is the move that puts us over the top.  I hope I am wrong because I sure thought this past season was when a championship would finally be brought back to Cleveland, but I was sure wrong.  This deal is a step in the right direction.  It proves to LeBron that ownership is willing to do whatever it takes to make him happy and win a championship.  From the city of Cleveland and from me, CoulTRAIN, we are happy welcome a new member to the Cavaliers, Shaquille O'Neal.

Here are a couple nicknames for the new big man compliments of my friend Chris Hawley and Co, WITNESS PROTECTION, THE BIG CUYAHOGA, SHACLEVELAND O'NEAL. I personally like THE BIG CUYAHOGA!

What I Want But Can't Afford

I'm down here in Orlando on vacation and we've stopped in a few shops just to look around and what not and this watch caught my eye.  Its made by Nixon and called The Rubber Player 4 x 4.  It also comes in red, blue, and green, which are all fucking nasty colors.

I think its a straight up sick watch.  Unfortunately I don't think I have $170 to drop right now and on a watch of all things.  Every time we come down here I look at watches but have never bought one and I'm seriously contemplating making an investment on this one.  Since I was in a watch mood I went to Nixon's website and checked out what they had.  I came across some nice watches but none more baller than The Newton.

Ok so I havent been on the computer for a week or so, so I was extremely facebook deprived.  Today i finally got on and was immediately confronted with the new "USERNAME" option.  After a few minutes of thought and discussion with my sister on what "username" I should take I went with christopher.coulter, which is simple enough.  I was surprised it was available after 3 days of the "username" option, but I think i made a good choice.

So what are the feelings about the "username" change over?? I personally don't care all that much about it but what do you think? Good? Bad?

Vacation

With summer comes vacation, a thing that everyone loves.  A time for friends to kick it and family to travel.  That my friends is what I am doing this week, vacationing in florida with my sisters.  We're in orlando and have plans to visit Disney, and Universal Studios.  The week should be fun and after all it's florida.  Highs in the 90's everyday, roller coasters, shopping, and a little family, all things that every person loves.

In honor of the Pens winning the Stanley Cup here is some video of their captain Sidney Crosby.  I must admit the kid is mad nice for being so young.  He's the youngest captain to lead his team to the cup. Malkin and Staal are beasts too but I'm still a huge AO fan.  Congrats to the Pens and Sid the Kid.  Better luck next year Detroit lolz..
