*!!FUCK THE CLEVELAND INDIANS!!*

Today the Cleveland Indians dealt ace Cliff Lee to the Philadelphia Phillies. This kind of shit pisses me off!!! This is coming from a person, me, that doesn't really even like baseball but loves Cleveland sports. Reigning AL Cy Young winner, Cliff Lee is 7-9 so far this year, with a 3.14 era on, let me remind you, THE 4TH WORST TEAM IN ALL OF BASEBALL!!!! Those are pretty damn good number for playing on a team that can produce runs and had a mediocre defense. Think back, 2 years ago we were 1 game away from making the world series and probably winning it against the Colorado Rockies (who got swept but the Red Sox). When the season started, in my eyes the Indians had 3 maybe 4 valuable players that should not have been traded, Cliff Lee, Victor Martinez, Marc DeRosa, and Grady Sizemore. 2 of the 4 are gone! Im tired of getting "prospects" and giving up proven MLB players.

The Lee deal went like this:
To Philadelphia:
P - Cliff Lee
OF - Ben Francisco

To Cleveland:
4 Fucking minor league pieces of shit!!!

but seriously
P - Carlos Carrasco
P - Jason Knapp
SS- Jason Donald

ESPN called Lou Marson the "likely heir apparent" to Victor. I swear to god, if the Indians trade Victor, I will not watch another Indians game this season...

GOD DAMNITT!!!!!!

Honestly, I just disappointed in what the Cleveland Indians organization has become. Eric Wedge MUST go, and most likely will at the end of the season. It's just frustrating to not be contenders and to be the team that continually gives away their good players for basically nothing. I will always love Cleveland sports no matter how bad our teams are. Congrats to the Phillies for making this trade happen and strengthening their bullpen and making their team an elite contender. The word from the general public was that the Phillies dealing for Lee was the wrong decision, and they should have made a stronger push for Roy Halladay. That's just fucking stupid talk! Lee is now on a great defensive team and a team that can actually produce runs to support him. And on top of that Philadelphia was able to stipulate the players they would give to Cleveland, and basically said to Cleveland they wouldn't give up certain top prospects.

Here is a snippet from one of the many ESPN articles about the Lee deal

"At the root of this deal was balancing the conviction of our ability to compete in 2010 with the opportunity to impact the team's construction for years to come," Indians general manager Mark Shapiro said in a statement. "Without the sense of confidence in the team's ultimate competitiveness, we acted aggressively to add players that will impact the organization in 2010 and beyond."

The Phillies weren't required to give up pitcher J.A. Happ or the three prospects they balked at trading for Roy Halladay -- outfielders Dominic Brown and Michael Taylor and pitcher Kyle Drabek.

Asked in Seattle whether he felt the Blue Jays dodged a bullet by the Phillies acquiring Lee instead of Halladay, Toronto manager Cito Gaston noted that some of Philadelphia's top prospects were still available and said with a chuckle, "Yeah, I guess. Who knows? They may come back and get [Halladay], too. That'd be a pretty good staff there, wouldn't it?"

Lee, the 2008 AL Cy Young winner who turns 31 next month, is having another solid season for the Indians, posting a 3.14 ERA while walking just 33 in 152 innings. He will make $8 million in 2010 and then be eligible for free agency.

Lee would be the sixth Cy Young winner to be traded in the offseason or during the season following his Cy Young win. Last season, 2007 AL Cy Young winner CC Sabathia was traded by the Indians to the Milwaukee Brewers.

*!!!OBAMA COMES TO SHAKER AND I'M GOING TO SEE HIM!!!*

Yesterday, Tuesday July 21st I went to my grandma's house to help her move some stuff and she told me that President Barack Obama was coming to Shaker on Thursday. My grandma showed me the article in the Plain Dealer, and it said the event was open to the public and that a limited amount tickets were available to the public and could be won by either signing up online or calling a number and leaving your information. Since my grandmother doesn't have internet she called the number and entered her name to win tickets. I figured I might as well because it's not like the President comes to your local high school everyday, so I called and entered my name as well. Along with my grandmother and I, my sister, my mom, and my uncle all entered their names. About 6 o-clock I got a call telling me I HAD WON 2 TICKETS TO PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA'S TOWN HALL MEETING. Turns out my mom also won 2 tickets. I am really excited to attend the event and see Obama up close. I will probably go crazy early so I get good seats.

Here is a snippet from the Plain Deal article about the President's visit.

The centerpiece of the trip will be an afternoon town hall-style meeting at Shaker Heights High School, during which he will take questions about his reform plan after delivering prepared remarks. Beforehand, Obama will tour the Cleveland Clinic, a frequent stop for presidents and presidential candidates who like to use the institution as a backdrop for discussion about medical innovation.Obama, whose visit will follow his nationally televised press conference Wednesday night on health-care reform, has not yet endorsed a specific plan, but has rejected the idea of a single-payer, or nationalized, health-care system. Obama wants a plan that covers the uninsured and lowers costs for others.

Japan's Unlimited 3G Data Plans Are Being Overwhelmed by Pornhounds

Hahhahaha I thought this was rather interesting. Porn has become so main stream that most every teenager, male or female, will look at porn at least once in their life. Technology has evolved so far that with 3G you now have the ability to surf the entire internet, download full movies, make calls, and listen to music all in the palm of you hand. Maybe too many teenagers have 3G enabled phones now-n-days, but honestly I might be tempted if I had a 3G phone.

Here is an excerpt from gizmodo.com.

Apparently, Japanese carriers KDDI and DoCoMo are being totally overwhelmed by porn downloaders on their 3G networks. I don't know what they expected to happen when porn services started offering movies for wireless download.

The porn aficionados, or Jason Chens as they're known in the States, are causing the Japanese online porn industry to grow at 1,000 new customers a day with some people paying up to $105 to get on board.

Consider this a peek into the near future here in the US. When more people get phones with data plans that are able to download video, the exact same thing will happen here, just with less mosiacs and cartoons. People love their porn, after all.

Here are some more articles about the boom in 3G porn.

Twitter Beef: Cudi Vs. Follower

So it's a Sunday night and while I was watching the ESPYS I checked my twitter account. I am a follower of Kid Cudi so his tweets come up on my wall so I read them and saw that there was a little bit of a fight/ verbal (twitter) confrontation between Cudi and one of his followers, alexisbelon. So to break it down Cudi was lettin off some steam and tweeting about what was stressing him. This broad alexisbelon called out Cudi for "complaining about being famous" and not puttin people on. So a tweet battle ensued. Cudi told her to unfollow him if since he was a "cry baby" as she put it, and it ended with Cudi goin to smoke some weed. I looked back at alexisbelon's wall and she claims she's a Kid Cudi fan but she completed dogged the homie and on twitter of all places, which I think is hilarious. She got a bunch of shit from other Cudi fans who had his back.
Moral of the story is alexisbelon is a dumb broad, twitter fights/ tweet confrontations are stupid and I'm glad Cudi kept it real. Check the battle out for yourself on Cudi's twitter page and then hit up the Cudder's blog just because. Also hit up datnewcudi.com for the latest Cudi news and music. There is a song up on datnewcudi.com called Heart Of A Lion that he performed at a recent show that is raw. Can't wait for the album to drop September 15th!

So my homie HeartlessMARC left today for Jersey. He's going to be gone for a week, which leaves me with very little to do. Since Marc and I both don't have jobs we hang out a lot and make music, blog, and lots of other random shit. So basically for the next week I will have no one to bum around with during the day. All I know is that he better being me back something for Jersey. In other news there is no other news. Stewart Cink won the British Open, the ESPYS were on tonight, and I really want to play some golf! I'll peruse the internet and find some more interesting shit to post.

The Cleveland Indians :-(

2 years ago at this time in the season the Indians were in 1st in the division and Fausto and CC were dealing. That year we had a 3-1 series lead over the Boston Red Sox in the ALCS and shat it away, losing the series 4-3. Today CC is with the Yankees, Fausto is somewhere in the minors trying to get his game back on track, and the Cleveland Indians are 35-54. The All Star break is over and the second half of the season is about to begin. I've been to 2 games already this season, a win and a loss both pitched by Cliff Lee. Tonight Lee will be goin again against the Mariners who are 4 games back of the Angles in their division. The Indians are 14 games back :-(. I am not a huge baseball fan by any means so the woes the Indians are going through don't really trouble me. I do know we have a good squad but I also know that we can't keep trading away proven MLB players like CC for prospects, all be it good prospects, that are unproven and could be a huge bust! I'm pulling for the Indians to turn it around and at least get in contention to win the division.
So lets GO TIBE and lets go Cliff Lee. I want a W.

Where In The World?

Now-n-days traveling outside of the united states has completely changed because of terrorism.  You even need a passport to go to Canada, and who honestly wants to commit a terrorist act in Canada?? NO ONE because its Canada.  Well I'm a little behind of the times and still don't have a passport.  I am applying for one in the next couple days because my sister came to me with the idea of us taking a trip at the end of the summer to somewhere neither of us had not been, possibly even internationally.  Some of the places that we discussed were Hawaii Rome, Barcelona, Australia, and London.  Personally I would be happy with any of these places, basically anywhere outside of Ohio.  Summer in Cleveland really sucks when you're not 21 and lots of your friends are out of town, so a trip would be nice.  For all of my followers out there (all 2 of you) I'm asking you guys to suggest some places for a vacation.  Where in the world should I go?  Submit your ideas in the comments spot below.  Thanks guys.

Mike Posner and Then Brain Trust: A Matter of Time

My man HeartlessMARC got me hip to this kid Mike Posner.  He's from Southfield, Michigan, which is only like 30 minutes from my dad's house.  This mixtape is pretty old but it's still really good shit.  Posner teams up with Big Sean, Jackie Chain, DJ Don Cannon, and Eric Holljes for a classy hip hop mixtape.  Posner is more a of singer than a rapper, so when he teams up with rappers it quality every time.  He's got a unique style that's easy to enjoy.  Posner is a up and coming star just like Kid Cudi and Drake so I definitely recommend you download it if you already haven't.

Stitches Are Kinda Cool!!!

So I went to my friend Zach Rosskamm's house Wedneday evening to play some basketball as we usually do in the summer outside on his tennis court.  First I must say that I am not a very injury prone person, normally its just a rolled ankle with me, never really anything serious.  I have never broken a bone, dislocated anything, or had stitches.  Notice the word there HAD.  So the usual suspects were at Zach's, myselfLogan, Mike, Zach, Marc, Peter, Mr. Rosskamm, Waxman, B-Ho, and Rogen for a couple games of basketball.  To get to the point, I got the ball off a rebound or turnover, I dont remember which, and pushed it up the court.  Mike ran back on D and as I came down the court he proceeded to hack me!  Nah I'm just kiddin'.  As I went up for the lay up Mike bodied me (NO HOMO) and I came down and tried to stop myself as my momentum carried me into the fence.   I've ran into that fence almost every time we've played outside and stopped myself safely, but this time I wasn't so lucky.  I grabbed the fence with my left had but missed with my right and a piece of metal at the top of the fence cut open my forearm.  It was a pretty good cut, probably about 5 inches long and down to the white meat.  It didnt bleed very much, but since it was a good length cut Mr. R and I both thought it best if I went to the hospital and got stitches.  So I went, yadda yadda yadda, a few hours later I had 15 stitches in my arm!  The cut didn't and still doesn't hurt that much.  I was actually kind of excited to get the stitches because now I can make up some badass story to go along with the scar.  I was also sad to see my run of 20 years, 9 months and a couple days of not having broke a bone or had stitches come to an end.  So life goes on, I just thought I'd share my new experience with you all.

Take A Minute And Be Thankful

Today services are being held to remember the late Michael Jackson at the Staples Center.  I just want everyone to take a minute to watch the services and think about the things in life that are really important to you.  Mike was only 50 when he passed and had 3 kids.  My mother is 51, has 3 kids (just like mike), and works 2 jobs.  God damnit I know I would lose my mind if anything were to happen to either of my parents especially at this point in my life.  Children, teenagers, and young adults all think their parents are going to live forever, including me.  Clearly this is not possibly and the death of Michael Jackson just shows how fucking flimsy life really is.  One day we're here, the next we're gone.  HONESTLY PEOPLE take the time today to tell your parents, grand parents, siblings, friends, anyone who means anything to you, that you love them.  Last year I lost one of my best friends, Jeffery Alex Dobay, which changed my life forever.  He taught me to value and love every thing I have been given.  I will be truthful, I lost sight of this valuable lesson but the passing of Michael Jackson brought it rushing back.
So I will say this in parting.  This world we live in is fucked up, crazy, and down right unforgiving.  One day your here and the next you may not be.  Nothing is this work is guaranteed to any of us, no one is guaranteed to be here.  I know this outlook is kind of grime but its the fucking truth. Take the time today, tomorrow, or whenever to tell the ones you most value in the world that you care about them.  Maybe it's a hug, a phone call, a kiss, whatever the action you choose to show you feelings, it will be greatly appreciated in more ways than you know.  Please, I urge you to never forget this lesson, and to always be thankful for what you have.

With love,
Christopher Maxwell Coulter.
